A South Florida resident and homeowner from 1976 through 2002, my husband and I lived in the famous golf course community Country Club of Miami before moving to the Ormond Beach-Plantation Bay area in 2002. Accomplishments: former appointed member of Miami- Dade County Community Council #5 and Zoning Board , former Chairwoman of Country Club Lakes Incorporation Committee, receipient of Miami-Dade County Mayoral Proclamation, naming April 6, 2002 as JANE GENTILE-YOUD DAY by Mayor Alexander Penelas and the Board of County Commissioners for 25 years of volunteer service to Dade County. I devote time now to beautify my new home area; I worked to secure funding for $200,000 of gorgeous trees and shrubs planted in October 2004 adjacent to 'Plantation Bay. In 2006 I helped in renaming our very much hidden sourthern entrance to 'Plantation Bay Road' and acquiring traffic signs showing this intersection. Appointed in January 2008 to the Flagler County Long Range Planning Board.
