From the age of 14 ‘til my late teens I worked summers on farms, then nights after school at McDonald’s and then as a community college security guard. During my early 20’s I worked in factories a little, then traveled between the Catskills in New York and Sebring, Florida working seasonally in the hotel industry as a busboy, waiter, and maître d'. I spent a little over a year as a waiter in New Orleans then back to the Catskills as a dining room captain. In my late 20’s I relocated to Bradenton, Florida and entered into the marine industry repairing gel coat defects; damage to new fiberglass boats & parts; mold tooling and graphic painting. In my 30’s I was owner operator of a marine detailing business. A great deal of my business was factory warranty work for boat manufacturers.
