Sue is a 1971 graduate of the University of Virginia's School of Nursing. She moved to Maine in 1983 when her husband accepted a position at Bath Iron Works. It was at that point in her life when she decided to investigate a 2nd career, this time in real estate. She worked with a well-respected local firm for many years before making the decision to open RE/MAX Riverside...with a tremendous amount of encouragement and support from Don, her husband. She also expresses thanks to good friend David Banks for his encouragement. David and his wife own RE/MAX By The Bay in Portland, and had been suggesting this move for many years. Sue and Don also own two American Saddlebred Show Horses, which their daughter, Kristen, exhibits in major horse shows throughtout the country. They have one son, Jeff, who practices law in Philadelphia. This family is not complete without mention of Lacey and Simon, the family Dalmatians.
